
Dan Sarbacker
Dan Sarbacker has spent over two decades practicing human-centered design at the intersection of design, business, and technology. A strategic leader and entrepreneur, he has built and led design organizations from the ground up, helping Fortune 50 companies and startups alike conceive, create, and bring new products and businesses to market.
At Design Concepts, he practiced human-centered design across industries from financial services to pharma, conducting global research and developing product strategies for major clients. At American Family Insurance, he built and led a multi-discipline internal design studio encompassing strategic foresight, service design, user experience, and behavioral design, generating significant growth and efficiency opportunities across the enterprise.
At VivaLogic, he applies that same design and innovation expertise to retirement. As Chief Customer Officer, he leads the customer experience and product design work that makes CLIP intuitive and compelling for the savers it serves, bringing his background in choice architecture and behavioral design to bear on one of the most consequential decisions people make.
He holds a BA in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis and an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a Certified Choice Architect and led a team selected as semifinalists in the World Health Organization global design competition.
